Cascade Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Bellevue Christian Vikings 3-0. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.
One reason for the win was Cascade Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-11.
Jenica Walling paced Cascade Christian's offense, picking up 21 kills. Walling got some help from Emma Compton and her 27 assists. Liesl Nordling controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Cascade Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Bellevue Christian, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
Coming up, Cascade Christian will challenge King's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellevue Christian, they will square off against Life Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
