Softball Game Preview: Madison Warhawks vs. Arleta Mustangs

The Madison Warhawks will face off against the Arleta Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Madison sitting on four straight victories and Arleta on six.

Madison is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Grossmont 14-7. The Warhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, while Arleta put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Marshall. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Barristers.

NAOMI TACHIN was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. TACHIN was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on ADRIANA VASQUEZ DURAN, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. BRYGETTE RAYGOZA was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Arleta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 7-3 when they post 11 or more hits.

Arleta's win bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 22-9-1.
