Soccer Game Preview: Forest Park vs. Gibson Southern

Forest Park has won three straight games at home, while Gibson Southern has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Rangers will welcome the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Forest Park will be strutting in after a win while Gibson Southern will be coming in after a loss.

Forest Park proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out North Posey 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Forest Park were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Gibson Southern's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Evansville North. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Gibson Southern couldn't quite close it out.

Gibson Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-1. As for Forest Park, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
