Prairie View posted their closest win since October 15, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Waverly Bulldogs 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Buffalos in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Prairie View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Prairie View now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Waverly, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
