Basketball Recap: West St. Mary Takes a Loss

After flying high against Morgan City last Friday, West St. Mary came back down to earth. The West St. Mary Wolfpack were beaten by the Central Catholic Eagles 49-21 on Wednesday. The match marked the Wolfpack's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

West St. Mary will finish 2024 at home by hosting North Vermilion at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Central Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-38 victory against Erath on the 19th.
