Volleyball Recap: Stratton Eagles vs. Yuma Outlaws
Stratton was the 3-0 winner over Yuma when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Outlaws on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Sophie Isenbart paced Stratton's offense, picking up six kills. Isenbart got some help from Camory Wedel and her nine assists. Kinsleigh Brachtenbach controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Stratton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Yuma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.
Looking ahead, Stratton will be playing at home against Flagler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yuma, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Holyoke on the 27th.
