Softball Recap: Redington Huskies vs. Homer Mariners

Redington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell victim to a rough 24-2 defeat at the hands of the Homer Mariners.

For Homer's part, Keagan Niebuhr was a standout: she went 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, six RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Fraley, who scored four runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Redington's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Homer, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.
