Brookings's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Washington Warriors. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their two-run performance the match before.

Brookings got a great performance from Kysin Reuer as he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Cooper Schneider was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Winston Plummer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.

The victory got Brookings back to even at 1-1. As for Washington, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
