Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Sayre's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

The Sayre Redskins got the win against the Hanover Area Hawkeyes on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sayre took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-14.

Sayre is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Hanover Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sayre will welcome Galeton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hanover Area, they will host Wyoming Area at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
