Volleyball Recap: Bren Finch and Skyler Hevener Secure Win for Round Valley

Round Valley won the last time they faced Chinle and things went their way on Saturday too. The Elks had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1.

Round Valley was led to victory by Skyler Hevener and Bren Finch. Hevener had ten digs, while Finch had three digs and three aces. That's the most digs Hevener has posted over her last five matchups.

Round Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Chinle, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Round Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Safford on the 20th. Hopefully Chinle paid attention to the Elks' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Elks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
