Basketball Recap: West Field Longhorns vs. Sky View Bobcats
West Field won against Bear River last Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The West Field Longhorns walked away with a 62-50 victory over the Sky View Bobcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Field to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daxton Laughter, who went 5 of 6 en route to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Laughter continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Fowers, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why Sky View lost, don't look at Easton Mills. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 9 en route to 16 points and seven boards. That's the most points Mills has posted since back in December of 2023. Zachary Oxborrow was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.
