Softball Preview: Crocker Lions vs. St. James Tigers

Crocker is 7-1 against St. James since October of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions faces off against the St. James Tigers at 4:30 p.m.

Brooke Williams was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, St. James didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with five strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've managed all season.

Crocker's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for St. James, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-19.
