 Monday just wasn't the day for Lawrenceburg's offense. They fell  4-0 to the Franklin County Wildcats on Monday. Lawrenceburg has struggled against Franklin County recently, as their  game on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

 On Franklin County's side,  Braylon Kruthaupt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. Kruthaupt was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Ben Becker, who  went 2-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Ethan Brewer, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Lawrenceburg's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Franklin County, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-10.
 Lawrenceburg will be playing in front of their home fans against North Decatur at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lawrenceburg's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so North Decatur's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin County, they will head out on the road to  take on  Lawrenceburg at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
