Berrien scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 77-50 loss at the hands of the Appling County Pirates. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

It was another big night for Keniyah White, who posted 40 points and eight rebounds for Appling County. White has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Perri Mitchell, who earned five points and ten boards.

Berrien's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Appling County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

Berrien will head out to square off against Worth County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Worth County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Berrien surely won't give up without a fight. As for Appling County, they will host Crisp County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
