Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for the Master's Academy

The Master's Academy won against Haywood Christian Academy last Tuesday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Master's Academy Lions secured a 43-39 W over the Temple Baptist Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-35 two weeks ago.

Despite the loss, Temple Baptist still got an impressive performance from Davis Metcalf, who posted 11 points. Bailey Anders was another key player, putting up seven points.

The victory (which was The Master's Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. As for Temple Baptist, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

The Master's Academy will take on Veritas Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Veritas Christian Academy has won seven straight at home, while The Master's Academy won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Temple Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
