Softball Recap: Sherando Warriors vs. Millbrook Pioneers        
        
		
            
 Sherando was the  8-2 winner over Millbrook when they last played one another  back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Sherando Warriors took  a  4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millbrook Pioneers on Thursday. Sherando has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Sherando saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lilian Wray, who  went 1-for-2 with  an  RBI. Wray has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 Sherando's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Millbrook, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.
 Sherando didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  24-0  win vs. Handley on the 16th. As for Millbrook, they will head out on the road to  face off against  James Wood at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. James Wood is coming into the  match with nine straight  victories at home,  so Millbrook will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
