Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. Judson

The Johnson Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Judson Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Judson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Johnson, who comes in off a win.

Johnson will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against East Central on Friday. Johnson blew past East Central 4-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Jaguars' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Judson didn't have quite enough to beat Canyon on Friday and fell 3-2.

Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-3. As for Judson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-5 record this season.

Johnson took their win against Judson in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 8-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnson since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
