Brandeis had to settle for second on Thursday, but Hayden Winkler sure wasn't going down easily. Winkler wasn't messing around, earning two runs and two stolen bases. The contest was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Even though Winkler couldn't lead Brandeis over Reagan, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Winkler's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Broncos' seven-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Winkler and the Broncos surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
