Basketball Game Preview: St. Vincent's Saints vs. Savannah Country Day Hornets

St. Vincent hasn't had much luck against Savannah Country Day recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The St. Vincent's Saints will look to defend their home court against the Savannah Country Day Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, St. Vincent's turned things around against Toombs County on Friday. They took down the Bulldogs 47-32.

Meanwhile, Savannah Country Day came tearing into Monday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 53-41. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 444th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Vincent's now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Savannah Country Day, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
