Basketball Game Preview: Blue Earth Buccaneers vs. Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers

Blue Earth is on an eight-game streak of home losses, Minnesota Valley Lutheran a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Blue Earth Buccaneers will welcome the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Blue Earth lost to Maple River on the road by a 56-38 margin.

Meanwhile, Minnesota Valley Lutheran ended up a good deal behind Redwood Valley on Friday and lost 71-56. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Cardinals are ranked 113th).

Minnesota Valley Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Blue Earth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
