Basketball Recap: Sparks Takes a Loss

Sparks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Truckee Wolverines. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railroaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-46 back in January.

Despite the loss, Sparks still got an impressive performance from Angel Flores, who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc to post 20 points. The dominant performance gave Flores a new career-high in points. Eli Flores was another key player, putting up seven points.

Sparks' loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Truckee, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-15.

Sparks has already played their next matchup (against Wooster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Truckee has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against North Valleys.
