Baseball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Milton was the 6-4 winner over Crestview when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Milton Panthers fell just short of the Crestview Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Milton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker McCoy, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Milton's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Crestview, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Looking ahead, Milton will square off against Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestview, they will face off against West Florida at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
