Softball Recap: Dedham Comes Up Short

Dedham managed to slip by Medway the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Marauders lost 12-3 to the Mustangs on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Alaina Martin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

Dedham now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Medway, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dedham will head out to face off against Norwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Marauders are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Medway, they are taking a road trip to square off against Medfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
