Football Recap: Oshkosh West Takes a Loss

Oshkosh West lost against Hortonville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 33-5 loss at the hands of the Polar Bears.

Oshkosh West dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hortonville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Oshkosh West and Hortonville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 131st) will meet Fond du Lac (ranked 34th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hortonville will face off against Neenah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (120 vs. 4).
