Osceola won the last time they faced Meridian and things went their way on Friday too. The Osceola Bulldogs blew past the Meridian Mustangs, posting a 70-33 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Osceola was led to victory by Kelby Neujahr and Jackson Winslow. Neujahr went 6 of 7 en route to 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Winslow went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points and five boards. Neujahr has become a key player for Osceola: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 6-8 otherwise. Braxton Mestl was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Osceola pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to offensive boards: they averaged an imposing 13.17 offensive rebounds in those games compared to only 13.17 in the others. As for Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-17.

Coming up, Osceola and Heartland will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meridian, they will head out on the road to square off against Silver Lake at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
