It's playoff time, and Vineland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Gloucester County Tech on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Fighting Clan as they're now sitting on four straight.

The result came thanks to Kyle Lamanteer's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ernie Bernhardt was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Don Menzoni, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Vineland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gloucester County Tech struck out 11 times.

Vineland's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Gloucester County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16-1.

As of now, neither Vineland nor Gloucester County Tech have any future games scheduled.
