The Columbia Falls Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Frenchtown Broncs at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Columbia Falls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.

Columbia Falls managed to slip by Hamilton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats wound up with the same score they had in their last game (8-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Columbia Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nico Young, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Young has hit this season.

The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Columbia Falls, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
