Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

If Jefferson was feeling good fresh off their 12-6 takedown of Allen East on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Shawnee Indians by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Shawnee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will head out to face off against Continental at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shawnee, they will venture away from home to square off against Defiance at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
