Soccer Game Preview: Ada vs. Lincolnview

The Ada Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Lincolnview Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ada is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

On Monday, Ada got the win against Lima Central Catholic by a conclusive 5-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Ada's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Lima Central Catholic are ranked 519th).

Ada hit Lima Central Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Andrew Allen (2), Carson Conley (2), and Lucas Henson.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lincolnview's offense. They came up short against Celina on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for Lincolnview in their meetings with Celina: they've now lost three in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Ada and bumps their season record up to 10-4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two contests. As for Lincolnview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1.

Everything went Ada's way against Lincolnview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Ada made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
