Frontier won the last time they faced Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lumberjacks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Frontier not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Valley between 15 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.

Kelsey Dye paced Frontier's offense, picking up eight kills. Dye got some help from Willow Smitley and her 20 assists. Dye also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bethanie Thompson, each putting up four.

Frontier's record now sits at 9-13. As for Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Frontier will challenge River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will take on St. Marys at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
