Apollo extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 16-10. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers a 4-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in April.

As for Breckinridge County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season. Fighting Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Apollo since Thursday.

For Breckinridge County's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Draven Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

As of now, neither Apollo nor the Fighting Tigers have any future games scheduled.
