Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Algonac). They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Imlay City Spartans on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Muskrats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jaycee Reams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Reams was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Michael Kenel and Autumn Dueweke did most of the damage at the plate: Kenel went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs, while Dueweke went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Murray, who went 4-for-5 with two RBI.

Algonac kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
