Soccer Recap: Fishers Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Fishers was not quite McCutcheon's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 3-2. Fishers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as McCutcheon apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Andres Artigas and Max Chesebrough scored both of Fishers' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Fishers' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-4. As for McCutcheon, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3-2.

Looking ahead, Fishers will venture away from home to take on Center Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McCutcheon, they will welcome Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
