Baseball Recap: Desert Ridge's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Desert Ridge was riding high fresh off their 13-1 takedown of Sunrise Mountain on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars fell 6-3 to the Highland Hawks on Thursday. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Desert Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelton Floan, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Desert Ridge's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-15. As for Highland, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-10.
