Basketball Game Preview: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Anderson Raptors

The Walnut Hills Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Anderson Raptors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walnut Hills is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Walnut Hills ended up a good deal behind Summit Country Day and lost 64-47. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Silver Knights are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, Anderson played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 83-57 to Lebanon. The Raptors have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Walnut Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Walnut Hills was able to grind out a solid win over Anderson in their previous matchup back in January, winning 56-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walnut Hills since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
