Soccer Recap: Memphis East Wins Going Away Against Ridgeway

Memphis East barely beat Ridgeway the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Memphis East Mustangs were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Ridgeway Roadrunners on Thursday. It was an even better day for Carlos Contreras as he scored four goals for his team.

Memphis East's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Bryan Segoviano got a bit more time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 46.7). Segoviano made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

The victory made it two in a row for Memphis East and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Memphis East will be playing at home against Power Center Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ridgeway, they are taking a road trip to face off against Melrose at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Ridgeway is facing Melrose at the right time seeing as Melrose is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
