If Carl Hayden Community was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Camelback on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Mustangs on Thursday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Carl Hayden Community was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made North work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Ruben Camarena paced Carl Hayden Community's offense, picking up 15 kills. Camarena got some help from Sebasti?n Zazueta and his 40 assists. Saul Nunez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Carl Hayden Community's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for North, they moved to 9-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
