Basketball Recap: Jonesport-Beals Takes a Loss

Jonesport-Beals lost against Calais on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jonesport-Beals Royals took a hard 39-24 fall against the Calais Blue Devils. The matchup marked the Royals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Jonesport-Beals and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Calais, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Jonesport-Beals has already played their next contest (against Narraguagus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Calais will square off against Shead at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
