West Geauga had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.4 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They blew past the Crestwood Red Devils 67-38. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Crestwood lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Angelo Dinardo, who posted six points and seven boards. Dekota Johnson was another key player, putting up ten points.

West Geauga is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Crestwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Geauga will welcome Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Crestwood likes a good challenge.
