Baseball Recap: Hornell Takes a Loss

Hornell lost against Wayland-Cohocton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Raiders came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-4.

Hornell saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Flaitz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Hornell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Hornell will host Wellsville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they will challenge Livonia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
