Basketball Game Preview: Chambers Cougars vs. Rocky River Ravens + Official Tickets

The Chambers Cougars will take on the Rocky River Ravens in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chambers knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Rocky River likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Chambers took on Millbrook on Saturday. The Cougars walked away with a 57-48 win over the Wildcats. The 57-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 69-53 to Mooresville. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 23rd).

Chambers' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Rocky River, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Chambers might still be hurting after the 100-80 loss they got from Rocky River in their previous matchup back in November of 2017. Thankfully for the Cougars, Darlinstone Dubar (who shot 58% from the field on his way to 24 points and eight boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
