Axtell has gone 8-2 against Mart recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Longhorns will welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mart will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Axtell extended their winning streak to four back in February. The Longhorns never let Clifton get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The matchup marked the Longhorns' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mart faced off against Hubbard on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 20-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won four in a row.

Izzy Vega was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shelby Hall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Mart was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .684. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

Axtell's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mart, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1.
