Softball Recap: Holly Takes a Loss

Holly lost to Lakeland on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bronchos came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-3.

Leah Murchie (2029) made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Holly's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Lakeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8-1 record this season.

While Holly had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
