Volleyball Recap: Noblesville Millers vs. Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs
Noblesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs. If the Millers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Grizzly Cubs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Gael Esqueda paced Noblesville's offense, picking up nine kills. Esqueda got some help from Sam Wolf and his 15 assists. Ben Sandahl controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Franklin Community can attribute much of their success to Titus Cross, who had 11 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Cross a new career-high.
Noblesville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Noblesville has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Carroll on the 22nd. As for Franklin Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fishers on the 22nd.
