Recap: Switzerland County Pacers vs. Hopkins County Central Storm
The Switzerland County Pacers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 79-64 win over Hopkins County Central. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Cam Craig was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-7 from deep and dropping a double-double on 39 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Switzerland County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadyn Riley, who scored 12 points.
Switzerland County's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Hopkins County Central, they bumped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Switzerland County and South Dearborn will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (South Dearborn is ranked 214th, while Switzerland County is ranked 227th). As for Hopkins County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Hopkinsville at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th.
