Volleyball Recap: Minisink Valley Warriors vs. Cornwall Central Dragons
Minisink Valley lost against Cornwall Central back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Dragons. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Minisink Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-16, 25-9, 28-16.
Aubrey Giakoumis paced Minisink Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Giakoumis got some help from Anhjela Jackson and her 12 assists. Finally, Natalie Barina kept Minisink Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
