Softball Recap: Rehobeth Has No Trouble Against Northside Methodist Academy

Rehobeth not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th. They blew past the Northside Methodist Academy Knights 15-1. The Rebels have beaten the Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Rehobeth got a massive performance out of Maddie Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave Williams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jessa Buker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Rehobeth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rehobeth's win bumped their record up to 10-12-1. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Rehobeth will face off against Russell County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cottonwood at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
