Basketball Game Preview: Druid Hills Red Devils vs. Banneker Trojans + Official Tickets

The Druid Hills Red Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Banneker Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Druid Hills has given up an average of 67.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Druid Hills is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Marist on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Devils had to suffer through a 68-24 loss at the hands of the War Eagles. The Red Devils have struggled against the War Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Banneker, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They secured a 76-70 W over Forest Park two weeks ago. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Druid Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Banneker, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Everything went Druid Hills' way against Banneker in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, as Druid Hills made off with a 69-44 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
