It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Mary's Prep had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Byron Center Bulldogs 35-19. The victory was nothing new for the Eaglets as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Darrin Jones Jr. was his usual excellent self, rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Bryson Williams, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

St. Mary's Prep pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Byron Center, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.
