Baseball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington lost against Normal University on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Washington lost 14-7 to Normal University. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen Klein made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Washington now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Normal University, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Washington will host Eureka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Eureka will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Normal University, they will head out on the road to challenge Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
